Janine began employment at the New Castle Veterinary Clinic in January 2006. A Colorado native, she feels fortunate to be raised in Evergreen and later to live in Leadville. She received an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences as a Veterinary Health Technician  when she graduated from Bel Rea Institute of Animal Health Technology in Denver. She made Arvada her home until realizing a change of scenery was necessary. Janine moved to Glenwood Springs in December 2005, very happy to be back in the mountains and promising herself to never leave this beautiful valley! She lives with her “significant other”. Larry, their son Joshua (age 6) and Larry's son Jonathon (age 17.) Janine also has a daughter, Danielle (age 22) who lives in Ohio. The “furry” members of the family consist of her calico cat, Pebbles, and a chinchilla hamster. She plans to add a puppy and a couple of horses to her family in the near future. Janine loves her job at the clinic, (it makes it even better to have wonderful people to work with) and looks forward to getting to know all of the clients and patients  (both the two and four legged kind!)
